Gratitude is a practice. Everyday, I think of things I am grateful for and voice my gratitude. I am thankful for people, experiences, savings, insights I have, flashes of inspiration, moments of peace, closure…the list could go on. The best thing about the practice is that once you start doing it, you always find more things to be grateful for. Today is gratitude Friday, and today I share things I am thankful for with my friends to encourage them in their practice. Gratitude can change your world; instead of being upset at what could have been, you teach yourself to focus on what is, to be present in the moment.
